Biography

Jules Sylvain, pseudonym for Axel Stig Hansson, was a Swedish composer, screenwriter and musician. He studied piano lessons at Royal Swedish Academy of Music 1918 to 1920, and continued to study at Music High School in Weimar till 1922. He received his first income in 1918 as a café pianist in Stockholm.
