Terms of use

1. What the service is

Tracker TV is an online service for tracking films and television series. It lets you keep a list of titles to watch, mark episodes and films as watched, and see upcoming air dates.

The service is hosted by its publisher and used from a browser. It streams no audiovisual content and gives access to no playback source. It does not replace a subscription to a streaming platform.

2. Account and holder responsibility

Creating an account requires a valid e-mail address and a public username. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping access to your account private.

• An account is personal. It is not shared or transferred.
• Any action taken from your account is treated as yours.
• If you believe someone else has access, tell us at security@tracker-tv.com and change how you sign in.
• The service is for people aged 15 and over. Below that age, consent from a legal guardian is required.

3. Acceptable use

You use Tracker TV for your own personal purposes. The following are not allowed:

• large scale automated extraction of pages or of the API;
• any attempt to bypass authentication, reach another account’s data, or degrade the service;
• posting unlawful, abusive or infringing content in free text fields;
• reselling or making the service available to third parties without written agreement.

Where these rules are broken, access may be suspended, either while we discuss it or permanently depending on severity.

4. Third party content

Catalogue metadata (titles, posters, backdrops, overviews, cast, ratings, seasons, episodes, air dates) comes from TMDB and remains the property of its respective holders. Tracker TV displays it under an API licence and grants no rights over it.

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

The data you create by using the service, meaning your library, your viewing history, the people you follow and your notifications, stays yours. You can ask for an export or a deletion at any time.

5. Availability without warranty

The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of continuous availability. Interruptions may happen for maintenance, updates, technical incidents, or because of a third party the service depends on, in particular the TMDB API and the hosting provider.

Features may change, be modified or be withdrawn. A withdrawal affecting a core feature is announced by e-mail before it takes effect.

6. Limitation of liability

Tracker TV is a personal tracking tool. It cannot be held liable for:

• inaccuracy coming from catalogue data, in particular an air date that is wrong or changed upstream;
• indirect damage, loss of use, or time lost because of an outage;
• data loss resulting from misuse or from a deliberate account deletion.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives to consumers.

7. Termination and account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your settings. Deletion removes everything your account holds, within the periods set out in the privacy policy.

The publisher may close an account in case of a serious breach of these terms, or if the service shuts down. In that case a reasonable notice period and a data export are offered.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may change, for example to reflect a change in the service or a legal obligation. The version that applies is the one published on this page, with its update date.

A substantial change is announced by e-mail at least fifteen days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date counts as acceptance.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, we look for an amicable solution first, through contact@tracker-tv.com.

Failing agreement, the dispute goes before the competent courts. A consumer resident in the European Union keeps the right to bring proceedings where they live.
