Biography

Luis Cintora (Málaga, Spain (20/09/1976). In 2010 he released his first full-length documentary film, “Nomads on Wheels: 100 days in Mongolia”. That’s the year he moved to Ayacucho where he investigated the Peruvian armed conflict through a series of sociopolitical documentary films, including “The Traces of the Shining Path” and “The Cabanino Express”, which have been screened at prestigious Latin-American film festivals.

In 2015, he concludes this series with “Welcome to Los Cabitos”. He is currently continuing his investigation into human rights, conflict and memory issues in Latin America.
