Arooj Aftab (born March 11, 1985) is a Brooklyn-based Pakistani singer, composer, and producer. She became the first-ever Pakistani to win a Grammy Award for her song "Mohabbat" in 2022. She is known for working in multiple musical styles and idioms, including jazz and minimalism, and even integrating her native neo-Sufi elements into her music.
