Ivan Sosnin

Born in 1990 in Kirovgrad, Sverdlovsk region. From the 7th grade to the age of 18 he lived in Nevyansk (Sverdlovsk region). He studied at the Metallurgical Faculty of USTU-UPI (now Ural Federal University). Since his student years, he started working in an advertising agency, where he shot commercials and music videos. His films have been awarded at international festivals (Sapporo Film Festival, Vancouver Film Festival, FilmFestival Cottbus, Golden Unicorn, etc.), and in 2019 the short film "Interview" received a diploma of the Guild of Film Critics and Critics at Kinotavr and in 2020 became the winner of the Golden Eagle Award (film award). In 2021, the full-length almanac Ivan's Happiness (2020) was released, in which Fyodor Dobronravov, Alexey Serebryakov, Julia Aug, Kirill Kyaro, Anton Adasinsky and others participated. in 2022, His debut feature film Distant Close (2022) was released.
