She graduated from the University of Tartu with a degree in literature and folklore (BA, 2005) and the Baltic Film and Media School with a degree in screenwriting (MA, 2013). Since 2012, she has been a member of the board of the cultural marketing company Väike Objekt A OÜ. From 2009 to 2017, she was married to film director Andres Maimik. From 2018 to 2024, she was married to the artist Enn Tegova.
