After studies and award-winning short films such as Sons of Chaos and Broken, Mathieu Turi became assistant director to Quentin Tarantino for his film Inglourious Basterds (2009) and, among others, Guy Ritchie for Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows ( 2011) or Luc Besson for Lucy (2014). Under the productive eye of Xavier Gens who 'found, in the script, a deeply human story, a new look at the genre and a creature never before seen in cinema', he wrote and shot his first horror feature film in 2016.
